REHAB CENTER FOR WOMEN

This project is guided by the concept of metamorphosis, anchored in the dragonfly’s journey from water to air. Just as the dragonfly evolves through stages of transformation, the nucleus is envisioned as the beginning stage where women rebuild their sense of self, moving from instability toward independence and empowerment. Inspiration is drawn from the natural environments where dragonflies thrive, including ponds, lily pads, and plant life, translated into spaces filled with flowing forms, biophilic connections, and natural light. The abstract qualities of the dragonfly itself inform the design, including the delicate geometry of its wings, the metallic hues of its exoskeleton, the reflective qualities of water, and the lush organic greens of its habitat. Healing is celebrated as a layered process that nurtures safety, fosters community, and prepares individuals to take flight into a renewed life. LA PRADA DR. DALLAS, TEXAS.
